one is survived by her husband of 55 years, Washington architect, Avery Coonley Faulkner; two daughters, Sara Faulkner Maley of Amissville, Virginia and Lydia Faulkner Newman of Wilmington, North Carolina; a son, Waldron Mason Faulkner of Boston, Massachusetts; and three grandchildren: Virginia Stickley, Mason Stickley, and Alice Maley. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Calvin H. Cobb, Jr. of Washington who lives in Naples, Florida and Gibson Island, Maryland.

A memorial service will be held at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church at 1830 Connecticut Avenue in Washington on Friday, August 11 at 4:30 p.m. Another service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Upperville, Virginia on Saturday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Madeira School in Greenway, Virginia or to Trinity Episcopal Church in Upperville, Virginia.
