One of the unique characteristics of Main Street is that it is a combination of roadside commercial and residential buildings. The horses and hitching posts are gone, mud is replaced by pavement and sidewalk, but cars travel the street in great number. Several residents have asked that I send out a big plea to all of you to remember that this is still a residential street, so please SLOW down on Main Street! Thanks so much.
