Position with the Commonwealth's Attorney Office - Victim Witness Propram. This Violence Against Women (VSTOP) position provides direct services to assist victims of domestic violence through the court process including, advisement of rights, assistance in obtaining restitution, making referrals to community resources, and working with prosecution in court preparation. This position is a grant funded position (January 1 - December 31) renewable annually, pending Board of Supervisors' approval. Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, social work or psychology. Two years directly related experience in criminal justice system, social work or psychology. Successful candidate will undergo drug screening and criminal background check.
