Gray Ghost is sponsoring a special holiday food drive to benefit the Culpeper Food Closet. All non-perishable food and monetary donations qualify you for a drawing to receive free tickets to one of Gray Ghost’s popular events! Nov. 23: Griffin Tavern slate

Griffin Tavern will be closed for Thanksgiving. Music for November 24 will be blues and rock by Elizabeth Lawrence and on Saturday, November 25 come out to hear Reggae by Street Legal.

Nov. 24: Community

Thanksgiving Sing

Sing along with Ysaye Barnwell at the Sperryville Schoolhouse. Barnwell will lead the second annual Community Thanksgiving Sing on Friday November 24 at 8 p.m. Presented by Ki Theatre, this event drew a standing-room-only crowd last year. This year Ki Theatre has moved the Community Sing to the Schoolhouse to accommodate more people. The “Sing” begins at 8 p.m. Singers and non-singers alike are invited to come and bring family and friends to lift their hearts and voices together in song. Tickets are $15 for adults and free for children. Reserve tickets by calling Ki Theatre at 987-3164.

Nov. 24: Holiday Extravaganza!

Nov. 25: Elementary music

The first annual barbeque and benefit on Saturday, November 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Rappahannock County Elementary School. Featuring two raffle prizes: 100 Gallons of 87Octane gasoline at Settle’s and special RCHS alumni-only raffle for a framed Geneva Welch print. Drawings will take place at the event. Tickets are $10 adults, youngsters age 5 to 10 only $5, and those under five are free! Live music with: Bob Chappell & friends; Bobby Glasker Band. Meal included in ticket price.
