Dec. 21: Winter Solstice celebration

At RappFLOW’s monthly meeting. As winter arrives officially on this day, we will meet at RappFLOW headquarters in Sperryville, next to the Old Schoolhouse, beside the Thornton river. Annual Essay Contest

The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Culpeper Chapter #73 cordially invite all Rappahannock County Students, grades 1-12, to participate in an annual essay contest. We encourage any public, private or home schooled student to apply his or her history knowledge! Cash prizes will be awarded and winners will be honored at a special ceremony. Essay instructions and rules may be obtained at the Rappahannock County Library, the Rappahannock County Elementary School, or Rappahannock County High School. All entries are due by March 1,2007.
