Dec. 5: Didn’t get your diploma?

Regional Adult Education is providing GED preparation classes for adults in Rappahannock County. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Rappahannock County. For more information, or to register for class, contact adult education at 825-0476. A cost of $25 is for a one-time assessment fee. Classes and books are free. The class is open to the public.

The next GED test is December 15th and 16th . You must sign up by December 5th . The GED test is now scanned into the testing system the day of the final test and results are immediate with the exception of the writing section. All test takers can now check their scores on-line. They will be given an on-line access code when they register for the GED test.

Dec. 6 & 20 : Free Clinic

Dec. 7, 8: Cookie Sale

The 12th Annual Grandma’s Homemade Favorites Cookies and Gift Sale will be held Thursday, December 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday, December 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Warrenton Community Center, 430 East Shirley Avenue, Warrentoh, Virginia. All proceeds from this sale will benefit the Warrenton Adult Day Care Program. There will be an incredible assortment of cookies, fruitcakes, and snacks to enjoy while browsing. There will be many gifts to choose from also. In addition, we have remembered our four-legged friends - these treats are a very popular item - they sell out quickly.
