Sharing holiday joy with homeless animals: True animal lovers feel blessed and lucky to have their furry or hoofed friend in their lives, and they'd do anything in appreciation of their pet's loyalty, love and affection.
Not all animals are fortunate enough to have loving homes, however, and the animals at the Fauquier SPCA this holiday season could use some holiday cheer. Consider making a charitable donation to the SPCA in the name of your favorite animal or animal owner, so that the staff there can ensure that all of the animals in their charge are well cared for and have the best shot possible at landing a permanent, happy home.
Another way to participate this holiday season is to sign up for Santa photographs. You can have a beautiful photo taken of your pet with Santa this year on Dec. 2 at Booth Feeds and support the Fauquier SPCA at the same time. Sittings will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. — call Booth Feeds at (540) 349-1295 to make an appointment.
