to the area, the last few weeks have served as a crash course on everything Virginia. Now that I can pronounce "Fauquier" without sounding like I'm swearing at everyone, I feel it's sort of my duty to let you in on how to go about shopping for that special someone who is new to the area - or what to ask for if you are that special someone so you feel downright Virginian.
Basically, there's a trifecta (write that down, it's a horseracing term, you'll need to know those) of topics that stand out in the area: horses, history and ... wine. Shoot, I really wanted another Hword there. No matter, giving gifts out of these categories will help the Piedmont rookie feel like he or she has been here for years.
