the chemotherapy regimen and anti-nausea medications used in her treatment. Chemotherapy treatment is expected to continue over the next six months and then, possibly, radiation. She may also need to have a bone marrow transplant. While chemotherapy kills the cancer cells, many good cells are also killed. Debbie is expected to remain in UVA Cancer Center for at least four to six weeks, after which she will return to the Cancer Center for weekly chemotherapy. Additional treatments are expected to include blood and platelet transfusions, plus antibiotics to help fight infection due to a weakened immune system.
Debbie is a miracle in the making! In Matthew 17:20, Jesus says, “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
