While plans for the new business are not firm, it is definite that it will no longer be a bookstore.
A liquidation sale will begin the Friday after , Thanksgiving.
All new and used books, greeting cards, Civil War prints and boxed Christmas cards and gift wrap will be sold at 30% discount.
Although not available to be removed from the store until the end of December, all furnishings, book cases and registers will also be sold.
Hours are Friday and Saturday from 10-6, and Sunday from 11-5.
Most of all the Ostinatos want all their friends to come to say goodbye prior to closing the doors.
They have contributed much to the community.

Cliff Miller’s
School House
“The outpouring of creativity, talent and support from the community has ■ been amazing!” Charlene James-Duguid, guest director of “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” is finding out what many of us have known, that this is an unbelievably talented and generous community.
“When I talked about CD music for the performance, someone volunteered to provide live music. When I wished for wreaths, someone immediately volunteered to provide them,” she said.
Thanks to the generosity of Cliff Miller in supporting the creative arts, the School House is an ideal setting for this festive holiday program.
The School House will be set up as a theatre in the round and the cast of 40 people of all ages will involve the audience as part of the play in unexpected ways!

Workshop
successful
Violence is an illusion in the theatre. Over twenty children from age 5 to late teens participated in a free stage combat and safety workshop offered at the School House by Brad Waller.
There was great enthusiasm among the children in learning how to look like they were fighting on stage. Mr. Waller, long associated with the Shakespeare Theatre Company and the Folger Shakespeare Theatre, will return to The School House if there is continued interest.
