awardees tobe celebrated on May 18
Common Application Forms were distributed to all RCHS Seniors last week, enabling students to apply for 16 local scholarships by filling out one form. The deadline this year is April 23. More information on these scholarships, as well as many more local, regional, and national awards, can be found at www.RappahannockDreams.co m, or contact Miranda Hope at 987-8335. A record amount of local scholarship money is available for this year's college-bound seniors, thanks to generous donations from the Rappahannock community. The Next Step Board is busy preparing for the first annual Scholarship Assembly and Reception, to take place on May 18,2007. The assembly, for all 10th - 12th graders, will celebrate the accomplishments of students who are going on to higher education. At the reception, scholarship recipients will have an opportunity to meet and thank the community members who help to make sure that all Rappahannock students can see their dreams of higher education come true.
