In keeping with our bum** bling tradition (think more* Thespians, rather than Spartans), we are toying out a laptop computer scoring system this year. This will hopefully lead us to be able to score the, race faster, so that we can get * trophies awarded and folks home to nap sooner.
Personally, I think that the whole thing will result in a heroic debacle much like Thermopylae. So the quest is on, to find some material justifica-; tion or example that can be made of it, saving some portion of our dignity. Go figure.
In any event, win or lose, a • good time will be had by all, and we urge you to come out and run, walk, crawl or roll the race. • Failing that, come out and ei\joy' the day by cheering the runners and attending the awards ceremony on the Courthouse steps, which should go off about noon.
