In a remarkable program to enhance the role of music and art in the community by bringing world-class artists to the beautiful rural setting of Rappahannock County, The Chateauville Foundation this weekend is sponsoring a fullystaged performance of Benjamin Britten’s chamber opera, The Rape of Lucretia, conducted by the renowned Music Director of the New York Philharmonic, Lorin Maazel, with a cast of exceptional young singers and instrumentalists from the Youth Orchestra of the Americas.
