the family that owns the two businesses. They love living in this small town with a beautiful view of Mt. Baker and the Cascade mountains. They also enjoy making a decent living . selling their olive oil products! I told them that I had ordered six months worth of “Olive Oil of the Month Club” from Cudna Italiana for my son for Christmas and said I would switch to them in 2007 if they began that service!
I look forward to learning ' more about web based businesses, and many other relevant topics, at the Living Town meeting on May 31 at Cliff Miller’s School House. We will be publicizing workshop topics soon. For all our differences, we seem to have consensus on preserving our community and our village life. At the Living Towns meeting we will learn how other small, rural communities have faced this challenge.

Our chef extraordinaire, Tom Nash, served an incredible brunch on Easter Sunday that included roast leg of lamb, carved prime rib, poached salmon, mussels, crayfish, eggs to order, fresh fruit and homemade bread. If you missed Tom’s brunch yesterday, be sure to get there for Mother’s Day!
