County, make the power company responsible to those people they would offend. This responsibility rests upon every one of us. The Rappahannock Courthouse will be open at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 18th, for an informal discussion designed to provide the information necessary for a reasoned community response. A representative of the power industry, if available, will be welcomed but most of all the comments, opinions and ideas of those present. Without the interest and participation of everyone now, we will soon see steel towers in front of the Blue Ridge Mountains and have no answer for our children’s question, “Why are those towers and wires there.
