Juanita Virginia Grigsby of Amissville passed away at Warrenton Overlook Health and Rehabilitation Center Sunday, April 8 at the age of 83.
Mrs. Grigsby was bom June 9, 1923 to the late William R. Burke and Alice Dodson.
She made her life as a homemaker; retired from Aileen factory; was a member of Massonova Pentacostal Church in Castleton and loved her family and church.
Mrs. Grigsby is survived by her two sons; John R. Grigsby and his wife Elizabeth and William A. Grigsby and his wife Margaret, all of Front Royal, VA, two daughters; Rachel Ketchem of Culpeper, VA and Angela Hawkins and her husband Cleveland of Amissville, VA, a brother; Earl Nicholson of Culpeper, VA, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Grigsby, daughter, Marie Grigsby; son, Jessie Randolph Grigsby; brothers, James Burke, Reid Burke, Theodore Burke and Curtis Burke, Bobby and Clifford Nicholson, and sisters, Girtha Grigsby and Mary Burke.
Those serving as pallbearers are Cleveland Hawkins, Matthew Ketchem, Anthony Hawkins, T.J. Ketchem, Jr., Todd Grigsby and Jeff Grigsby. Honorary pallbearers are Arron Hawkins, John Grigsby, Jr., Jason Grigsby and William Grigsby, Jr. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 11 at Massonova Pentacostal Church, with Rev. L.D. Savage officiating. Interment was followed in the Grigsby Family
