After a light luncheon hosted by the members of the Rappahannock Historical Society, a convoy of about 10 cars drove from Little Washington to the old Maddox plantation near Huntly. Judi Burke, the granddaughter of a long-time former owner of the Maddox property who now lives on the adjoining farm, greeted the group on behalf of the new owners, Donald and Ruth Stolk who were out of town. The day could not have been more favorable for a visit. The sun shone brilliantly over spring green fields and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance outdid themselves.
