The only dentist in Rappahannock County may be getting some new digs in Flint Hill.
On July 18, the County Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval for Stella Laong’s application for a special-use permit to set up shop on residential property off Crest Hill Road in the village. The house on the 2-acre property will also be her family’s residence.
If approved by the Board of Zoning Appeals, which was scheduled to consider the permit Wednesday evening, Liang’s office will be the only commercial use.in Flint Hill not accessed via U.S. 522.
For the past two years, the dentist has been renting an office on U.S. 522 in Flint Hill and commuting from her home in Warrenton. %
Most members of the audience were in favor of Liang’s permit. Everyone who spoke praised the den- ~ tist as an asset to the community, but some people felt the new location
