Young, driving a 1989 Subaru, was traveling on U.S. 211 when she ran off of the right side of road and over corrected, causing the vehicle to land on its side after striking a dirt bank. Young and her passenger were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Stolen Checks
Katherine Jean Nichols Bradley, 45, of Culpeper, was arrested on July 19 on 10 felony charges of forgery and uttering after cashing stolen checks in Rappahannock County.
Parking watch
A woman from Flint Hill called the RCSO an July 11 to report illegally parked vehicles an the side of Zachary Taylor Highway. A deputy responded and ticketed two motorists.
Assaults reported
Nathanial David Corbin, 21, of Sperryville was arrested fay a RCSO deputy on July 20 for simple assault
Raul Finchim, 23, of Sperryville, was arrested on July 18 by a RCSO deputy for domestic assault.
Correction
In a domestic assault case, the Rappahannock News reported last week that according to the Sheriffs office, Gary Dawson arrived home and saw two men talking to his wife.
Further investigation has revealed that Dawson’s wife was not at home, and was avoiding the men who were 200-300 feet away. The incident occurred an Main Street, Sperryville.
