The proprietors of Trading Post Guns arrived at work Friday morning to find that their shop had been burglarized.
Before opening at 10 a.m. Friday, the firearms dealer west of the Town of Washington on U.S. 211 had been closed since Tuesday evening.
The burglary could have occurred at any time between Tuesday evening and Friday morning, said Angela Carter, an associate at the store.
Carter said multiple firearms were stolen, but would not release the number or types of guns taken. Store employees are still taking inventory, she said.
Carter would not disclose how the one-story, wooden building was entered. She did not know whether
