Amissville will be celebrating its choir anniversaiy on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 5 p. m. There will be several groups to help make this a grand occasion. Come and have a wonderful evening of praise. Rev. Homer E. Jones is pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Bethel Baptist Church, Amissville will have a Deaconess installation service on Sunday, Aug. 12 at 3 p. m. Rev. Ray Jackson will preach the Installation service. Music will be by Missy and the Gospel Guys. Lunch will be served after the 11 a. m. worship service. Come and help them to celebrate and make this a joyous day.
The First Baptist Church, Washington will have their Homecoming service on Aug. 5. The Rev. Dr. Wendell Grant will be the speaker for the morning service. Rev. Homer Jones and his church family from Bethel Baptist Churcfl, Amissville Wilf be the afternoon guest. Lunch will served after the morning service.
