We would lilt« thank members of the community for all of their support, prayers, and contributions. Thanks to you, Sidney has been able to get the therapy she needs to excel.

As with every disability, repetition and reinforcement are the keys to success. Return trips for therapy are imperative to Sidney’s physical development.

With this in mind, friends and family have organized a benefit concert, with all proceeds going to the Project Rainbow/ Sidney Dodson Cerebral Palsy Fund. The goal is to have this become an annual event.

This year’s event will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, at die Flint Hill Fire Hall. The fire department is located on Fodderstack Road near the intersection with U.S. 522. A variety of music will be played for everyone’s enjoyment.

The bands included are Tinsmith, Different Soul and Charlie Smith and Charlotte Swanson, all local artists. Hog Wild BBQ of Warrenton will be on hand to provide food at reasonable prices.

There will also be a silent auction and a special appearance from Spiderman to raise additional funds. The entrance fee will be $10 for adults and $5 for children.

We hope to make this benefit a success and, with your help, make it an event to look forward to every year. Our goal is to help more and more children through Project Rainbow.
