Q-mart robbed
An unknown burglar broke into the Q-mart on U. S. 211 opened an ATM machine, taking an undisclosed amount of money.
The incident occurred between the hours of 12 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.
One of the employees discovered the break in at about 3:30 a.m. as he arrived for work and immediately reported the incident to the Sheriff’s office.
According to the Sheriff’s office, the burglerfs) broke through the wall of the Q-mart to access the ATM machine.
The 3cene was processed by Deputy Robbie Fincham, Sgt. Mark Currence, Lt. Connie Smith and Maj. Chris Williams, and is currently under investigation.

Ferdinand Santiago, 36, of Alexandria and Richey Ellsworth Smith, 34, of Woodbridge were sentenced Tuesday for their involvement a high speed motorcycle chase that ended in a wreck last September.
Santiago and Smith were clocked riding their motorcycles at speeds of 118 mph before they crashed while attempting to elude pursuit by State Trooper Christopher Roop.
