Therefore, none of the witnesses for Cloniger’s sentencing were called Friday.
“I told [Hoffman] that the commonwealth would agree to put sentencing off to another day, so she wouldn’t have to bring in potentially 21 witnesses plus witnesses for the sentencing that would have to sit here all day,” Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke told the judge.
Cloniger’s sentencing has now been rescheduled for Sept. 21 at 9 a.m.
