Supervise/oversee day-to-day work of records staff. Track staff production levels, provide input toward completion of performance evaluations. Ensure work is assigned equally & completed on time. Provide guidance, assistance and training to cunent/new staff members, act on behalf of Operations Manager. Oversee and assist updating data, billing adjustments. Ensure accurate extraction of real property data from Clerk's system. Ensure supplements, abatements and tax adjustments processed timely. Be prepared to advise legal staff and outside contacts of process for each adjustment. Coordinate new parcel mapping, mapping updates and workflow from Office of Mapping/GIS System documents. Consult with Office of Mapping regarding correct process for handling ea. recordation/change, review information for quality, correctness. Coordinate/ implement special assessments as directed by County Assessoror Ops Mgr. Provide timely info to all internal/ external customers. Receive/respond to inquiries & complaints. Adhere to County HR policies. Serve on special workgroups, teams, or committees. Thorough knowledge of real estate law. County Ordinances, State Codes, real property appraisal systems, and tax collection systems. Have working knowledge of all records management & support staff positions. Ability to perform paraprofessional work including advising taxpayers, local attorneys, title examiners, appraisal staff and other County agencies on matters concerning deed analysis and data collection. High school diploma and 6 yrs related experience. Prefer Bachelor's degree with course work in job related field or graduation from a technical school. Credit record and criminal background checks.
