What is progress to you? Perhaps it is the realization of a goal, the next step forward or the understanding of your past.
For Sidney Dodson the definition of progress is much more complicated. It’s the ability to grasp a pencil or the amount of air she can project to verbalize her needs. All of these actions are mechanical responses, never thought about and taken for granted. Together these actions seem to be small accom. plishments to us, but for Sidney they are progress.
In February 2007, Sidney returned to Alltemative Gym in Georgia for physical therapy, utilizing the Adeli Suit. During her three-week program, she was given the opportunity to begin sessions in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
