the club has held it in Culpeper. This will be the first time in the event’s 10-year history that it will be in Rappahannock.
Rappahannock County High School and Wakefield Country Day School are scheduled to have their proms at The I .ink this spring. Both schools have traditionally had proms in Front Royal.
There will be entertainment at The Link as well. Ki Theatre is scheduled to have its Christmas performance in the auditorium.
And The I .ink will also play host to smaller gatherings, such as yoga and ballet lessons, on a weekly basis.
“We’re asking the community to utilize [The Link] because that’s what’s going to keep it here,” Kopjanski said. “We want to have programs that the community wants.”
The Schoolhouse has been a venue for several events during the past year.
The Rappahannock Repertory Company had two performances in the auditorium, the Chateauville Foundation held a fundraiser there for the Robey family and the Rappahannock- Rapidan Regional Commission held its annual Living Towns conference at The Schoolhouse in May.
Those successes proved there is a demand for event space in the county.
