Nov. 7: RNPC networking luncheon
The November 7 RNPC “networking luncheon" wM be held at our new home: The Rappahannock Link at The Schoolhouse in SperryviUe from 12:00 to 1.00. This luncheon series provides nonprofits an opportunity to network, discuss concerns and issues they are facing and to share information and resources they have found to be helpful. Nov. 9: Veterans Day Program
The community is invited to attend the annual Veteran’s Day program at FtCHS hosted by the Rappahannock County Band Boosters. The program will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9. The guest speaker this year will be Captain Michael Dei Grosso, USMC. Captain Del Grosso retired from the Marine Corps in June, 2007 and resides in Washington, VA with his wife and two sons. The program will include a performance by the RCHS band students. Refreshments will be served following the program. To honor a veteran with a named flag placed around the oval of RCHS, a form must be filled out and returned with $3 per flag to Sally Havstad. Everyone is invited to CCLCs Twelfth Annual Fal Auction and Party on Saturday, Nov. 10, at the Washington School on ML Salem Ave. Doors open at 5:30 p. m. for guests to browse and bid on silent auction offerings, purchase priced items from The Sursum Corda Shoppe, and enjoy a gourmet feast catered by the RCHS Culinary Arts class. The $25 entry fee entitles guests to food, libations, and fun, as the Washington School brims with unique treasures (antiques, art vacation packages, rugs, silver, collectibles) up for bid during a Live Auction at 7.
