A There are two plans that I
have for minimizing expenses for the sheriff’s office budget. First, I will be an effective and disciplined budget manager. I will be vigilant when considering the safety of the community and deputies, while always being cognizant of the long-term impact to the taxpayers. Second, I will continuously search for, apply to and obtain grant funding to save taxpayer dollars.

A First, I plan to attract topnotch
employees by new, innovative advertising strategies. Second, I will develop a new hiring process. There will be an extensive background investigation, a psychological examination, a polygraph examination, a medical exam and random drug testing. To retain our top-notch employees I will develop an Annual Performance Evaluation where employees are evaluated on their performance for the year and
