For over 20 years, Katherine “Kate” Brown-Wing has shared her love of nature in her drawings and paintings. As a professional scientific illustrator, Brown-Wing’s illustrations have been published as small as a trout stamp and as large as a classroom wall ami have been utilized in several fields: scientific, children’s nonfiction, educational, institutional and commercial. Having worked at Harvard University’s Museum of Natural History, one of her lectures included a Visual Review of the History of Natural Science.
Among Brown-Wing’s clients are: The Harvard Museum of Natural History, The American Museum of National History, and the United States Fish and Wildlife Department.
Now with her studio in Rappahannock County, Kate is surrounded by nature. She borders the Shenandoah National
