place items on consignment at Copper Fox Antiques. Co-owner Alex Sharp estimates the store has picked up between 15 and 20 new consignors in the past couple years. A year ago, Copper Fox opened a new room at its sprawling storage died location outside Sperryville. The room is now filled with a medley of wooden chairs, old farm equipment and antique fire extinguishers, among other things.
“It’s really looking good,” Owen said. Tm happy to have my books down there.”
She will also take over a small room at Copper Fox and set up an office for her work as a freelance communications editor for environmental groups.
Her decision to dose Fly-byNight Books, Etc., and move was partly prompted by dwindling sales at her Flint Hill location.
