A The most important position
in the sheriff’s office is the dispatching position. These individuals are the first line of contact that the citizens have when they call the sheriff’s office. A dispatcher needs to have training in Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical dispatch to obtain the proper information in all types of situations, and be able to relay that information to the proper personnel. To improve the dispatch situation I will provide advanced training to all dispatchers and cross-train all jailers so that everyone is prepared for all emergency situations.
