An added feature for this year’s tour at Running Cedar Studio will be the artful, handcrafted jewelry made by Washington’s postmaster, Yvonne Jarrell, who works in semiprecious stones, bones, crystals, ceramic, silver and coral and shells. Her faithful clientele was developed when she wore her own jewelry at the Post Office: women admired and desired and wanted copies or other version of a necklace or pair of earrings. So she has ended up creating hundreds of distinctive pieces, many designed exclusively for a client who wants to create her own personal fashion. Earrings, a few bracelets and many neck pieces will be available, including a small group appropriate for young ladies.
