school. Through my career I have served in every capacity within the sheriff’s office, ranging from dispatcher to lieutenant/investigator. I feel that this has helped me to better understand the inner workings of the sheriff’s office. I feel that I have the passion and desire to be the next sheriff, but at the same time I have compassion for people. I understand that not everyone comes to work every day in a good mood. I understand that people have things going on in their personal lives that does affect the way they perform their jobs. I will be out working beside my people when possible. I will not ask anyone to do anything that I would not do or have not done myself. I have the respect of my peers because I have walked in their shoes and I understand. I work hard as an investigator
