I want to thank the members
of the Flint Hill and Chester Gap Volunteer Fire and Rescue squads who visited Wakefield Country Day School this month during Fire Prevention Week. These dedicated young men, who give so much of their time and talent to help the community, spent the better part of a morning at the school with students in preschool through fourth grade. The company members shared valuable tips on fire prevention and safety, let the students climb on board the trucks and allowed them to examine some of their fire fighting equipment. After the visit, the children wrote notes
