As a long time resident but a first time observer of a Planning Commission hearing, I was dismayed to see that major legitimate concerns of many neighbors were so rudely set aside as without merit. In so doing, the Commission left many in the assembled audience questioning its integrity and saying that the proceedings were an embarrassment.
