Science degree in Criminal Justice, completed an internship with the Roanoke County Police Department, worked as a road deputy for Rappahannock and I am now a sergeant at the Culpeper Police Department I have supervised numerous areas of our department, including our Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Section. I have attended over 40 training schools over the past five years, focusing on leadership and management skills. I am an extremely hard worker, organized and decisive. I also have the ability to listen to others’ opinions and to ask questions when I do not know the answer. I believe that I am very approachable and will listen to all of the citizens concerns. I know that the job of being sheriff is a 24hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week job, and I will be a working sheriff, available to all citizens.
