What other pressing issues face the school board? How would you confront them?
The hot topic, at this time, is the methicillinresistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) situation at school. I feel the problem has had a temporary band-aid, yet is in need of a permanent suture. We need to set a policy for all students, athletes and personnel to follow. We need to address the facilities’ cleanliness, use and appropriateness. We need to address wastefulness and non-productivity. We need to make sure that everyone is on the same page and that policies for certain situations are adhered to.
Why should voters choose you?
A vote for me represents a vote for change and for someone who will work hard to ensure goals are met. I will be seen and heard. I will be a voice for the children, parents and residents of this county.
