A special program on energy independence and self-sufficiency will be hosted by Rural Virginia, Inc. on Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. in the Textile Workers Union Hall in Front Royal.
Featured speaker is Don Patterson from the American Agriculture Movement who will address the potential for decentralized alcohol fuel production.
Also on the program is Jim Benson fiom the Institute of Ecological Policies. Benson will discuss the need for local energy plans and how citizens can take charge of the process to develop such plans.
