Scholarships will be available to some applicants from natural resource interest groups. FWRI students formally apply to the Institute and submit letters of recommendation.
Forms are available from most high school counselors, state natural resource headquarters, Extension offices, or from William A. McElfresh, 304D Cheatham Hall, Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. 24061 (703% 1-5676).
A screening committee studies and judges admissions and scholarship applications. Between 50 and 60 percent are accepted in the program. Applications are due by June 27. Late requests will be considered on a space-available basis.

ChitterUng Dinner
A chicken and chitterling dinner will be served Saturday, May 10, at 4 p.m. at the- home of Mrs. Catherine Carter in Washington. Dinners will be S3.50 or will be delivered to your home for $4.
Proceeds will benefit the Men’s Chorus of the Promise Land Baptist Church, Washington.
