The JV continued on a sour note in Tuesday afternoon's battle with the Luray Bulldogs, losing 14-5. The May 6 game was the last of the season.
"They wanted it more than we did,” said coach Edmonson. Tuesday’s victory was Luray’s first of the year.
Luray scored first in the opening inning. The Panthers struck back in the second when Robert Myers walked and then stole second. He moved on to third when Tobey Schreiner popped out and then scored on a sacrifice fly from Mike Fletcher.
