Examinations
Wakefield Country Day School in Huntlv will administer an Admissions Placement Examination to more than 100 applicants on Friday. May 16. beginning at 10 a.m. The school’s Admissions Committee reports that as there are openings for only about 75 students, the test scores will help determine which students are the most eligible for admission.
With an anticipated enrollment of more than 325 for 1980-81. Wakefield will become the area's largest private day school. For students who have already received advanced acceptance. the tests will help determine placement in Advanced Placement Courses for 1980-81.
Wakefield’s Admissions Committee also reports that in the Preparatory School (grades 8-12). four scholarships are available for students who meet eligibility requirements. Those requirements specify that the scholarship recipient must be able to show financial need as well as high academic ability, as measured by the all-day Admissions Examination.
