The issuance of a simple speeding ticket turned into much more for State Trooper Ruftis A. Baines recently.
Instead of only giving a ticket for going 90 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone, Baines arrested the two men in the car for stealing a license plate and the car, a 1984 Datsun 280 ZX Special Edition model. Hie car's value: approximately $27,000.
