“They’ve really been improving every game, and up until tonight they have been scoring more every game,” said Coach Carol Nowakoski. “We have played a lot of tough teams and we’ve held our own.”
Nowakoski is pleased about the team’s improvement from its first game when they scored only 13 points. “To come from a time when you don’t know which way to go, to almost winning and winning is a real improvement,” she said.
