Retired Lt. CoL Cloyd Ray Hell, 71, of Front Royal, died Monday, September 24, in Lost River, W. Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Maddox Funeral Home, Front Royal, by the Rev. Willi. L. Betts. Burial with full military honors will be in Panorama Memorial Gar- l dens in Waterlick.
Col. Hall was born February 2, 1913, in Deer Lodge, Tenn., son of the kte William L. and Matilda Adkins
A retired U.S. Army lieu-tenant colonel, he was an inspector general in the Army during World War II.
Col. Hall was school psychologist for Arlington County public schools for 24 years before retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Moorefield, W. Va., American Legion Post, VFW Post 1860 in Front Royal, and the Disabled Veterans Organization in Front Royal
Surviving are his wife, Kathryn Wayland Hall, a son, James Ray Hall of West Virginia, two daughters, Sharon Ritter and Connie Longerbeam, both of Front Royal, two sisters, T^»l. Jones of Atlanta, Ga., and Reba Leonard of Corona, Calif., and four grandchildren.
