This is, after all, not a race for governor, but for attorney general. The election is still more than a year away and Terry is still an undeclared candidate. In spite of this, major blocs of the coalition appear ready—even eager—to cast their lots with Terry and back up their commitments with coalition-size checks. This, as far as Capitol observers can recall, has never happened so early before in an attorney general’s race.
