The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur S Mitchell, Sr. of Front Royal. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitchell of Culpeper and Mrs. Iola Shirley of Front Royal.
Escorted by her step-father, Edgar Beverage, the bride wore a white eyelet gown trimmed in venise lace with a Queen Anne neckline, puff sleeves and a full circle skirt. The chapel train was trimmed with rows of venise lace caught with satin bows. The silk finger tip veil, trimmed with venise lace and satin bows fell from an imported floral half wreath. Her cascade bouquet contained pink minature carnations, white daisies and babies breath with white satin ribbons tied in love knots.
