I was in attendance at the work session of the Rappahannock County Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, September 19. ^ • v
It seems to nib from observation that the planning commissioners need to do some work on their Table of Contents. If they want to refer to an item in the text, it takes them approximately five minutes to find it and the way they find {j| is to turn page by page. This ordinance is 210 pages and as you can see this takes up considerable time and is a waste of time.
When Mr. McNear drafted the 1984 Zoning Ordinance for Rappahannock County, I do not think he took into consideration whether or not the zoning ordinance was in conflict with any. state or federal laws. IfJjpfiid not do this, I think itjahould be done.'
Mr. McNear was asked a question about floodplain insurance when a building was built or about to be built in a floodplain area. He did not know the answer to the question.
