The two men apparently had “some type of argument” Saturday night at a local dance hall, said Fauquier Sheriff Ashby Olinger.
About 1:30 a.m. Sunday, when Mr. Rose was dropping a man off at Randall’s house, Randall allegedly came out of his house with “some kind of knife,” Sheriff Olinger said.
Randall allegedly cut Mr. Rose’s tires and then stabbed him once in the left side, he said. -

Mr. Rose died at Fauquier Hospital two hours later, the sheriff said.

A Fauquier County woman has taken a $10,000 pay cut to become a public school teacher.
While many teachers are lured from the classroom to the big bucks of industry, Warrenton Junior High School instructor Kathy Borror decided the classroom provides a more rewarding career. She left a $24,000 job as an accountant to become an alegebra teacher with a starting salary of $14,017.
