Brothers Split A Million
Two brothers, one a former Clarice County service station manager, will split $1.1 million over the next 20 years. Joseph and James Carper last week discovered they had won the Maryland "Lotto” lottery on a winning $1 ticket. \
James Carper, 48, has been buying lottery tickets at a Landover, Md., convenience store while delivering the Mopastery-baked bread, and figures he’r spent "about $600 on them since last Becember. Jfi» brother Joe, 4gg^ - contractor and councilman for Middletown, Va., joined him in the purchases about 46 days ago.
The brothers are expecting their first check, for $27,570 to arrive this week and checks will continue to arrive annually for 20 years.

A 32-year-old suspect is free on $50,000 bond after allegedly stabbing to death a Fauquier County man Sunday.
Gary Patrick Randall, 32, of Beale ton, is charged with murder after he allegedly stabbed James Carlos Rose, 24. Bealeton.
